Julie Mernagh has been appointed as the chief people and culture officer, Bidvest Noonan. Before joining Bidvest Noonan, Mernagh worked at Vodafone, where she held a dual role. As the global head of leadership and talent development at Vodafone group, she was overseeing a team spread across 12 countries, and additionally, she served as the deputy/acting HR director for Vodafone Ireland.

With nearly two decades of leadership and HR experience, Mernagh brings a wealth of expertise in various areas such as leadership development, learning, organisation design, workforce planning, business transformation, talent and succession, coaching, diversity and inclusion, and the intersection of business and HR strategy.

Bidvest Noonan is a customer-focused services group that delivers top-notch solutions, offering outstanding quality and value for customers. It has over 27,000 employees in the UK and Ireland.

In her new assignment, Mernagh will be in charge of the people and culture team, working on a strategy to improve Bidvest Noonan’s work environment and make the overall employee experience better.

Mernagh began her career in 2004 at PwC as a manager specialising in strategy, people, and change, dedicating seven years to the firm. Later, she joined Accenture as a senior management consultant, focusing on talent and organisational performance. In 2014, she moved to AIB as the head of leadership development and senior HR change and strategy lead, contributing to the AIB team for six years and five months. Mernagh now brings her extensive experience and skills to drive people and culture initiatives at Bidvest Noonan.
