    L&T Infotech bags SAP Implementation project for Rail Vikas Nigam

    The business is estimated to be worth $10 Mn.

    L&T Infotech has been awarded a contract to integrate the business functions of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), a wholly-owned public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways. The responsibilities include data centre hosting, collaboration and networking, including e-tendering, project management, finance, HR functions as well as user support and maintenance.

    L&T Infotech will deploy SAP ERP to integrate business operations within RVNL. With this, RVNL will be able to map business processes in a highly integrated way, which will help reduce costs and ensure speedy implementation of railway projects.

    The business is estimated to be worth $10 Mn.

    “We are glad to have signed the contract for implementing world-class SAP ERP at Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd,” VK Magapu, managing director, L&T Infotech, said in an official communique.

    “Our unique solutions will help RVNL streamline its operations, thereby helping them save valuable time, resources and money,” he added.
