After a successful eight-year long association with DMI Housing Finance, Vivek Tiwari has moved to IIFL Home Loans as vice president-human resources.

This alumnus of the Institute of Technology and Science, from where he completed a PGDM in Human Resource, began his professional journey as an assistant manager-human resources in May 2010, with Luminous Power Technologies.

Over two years later, in 2012, he moved to Livguard as human resources manager. This stint lasted over four years.

Tiwari’s next stop was Anand Group India where he was manager-Aftermarket HR for two years, from October of 2016 to September of 2018.

DMI Housing Finance appointed him assistant vice president-HR business partner, in 2018. Over four years into this role, he was elevated to head of human resources, in 2022.

Now, in his latest assignment at IIFL Home Loans, he will be tasked with applying his experience across financial services, housing finance, and automotive to help the workforce of this digitally-driven fintech service provider grow in line with the business.

Vivek Tiwari’s move to IIFL Home Loans as vice president HR reflects a strategic strengthening of the company’s people leadership at a time when fintechs are scaling rapidly and competing for talent. His career path—spanning manufacturing, automotive, and financial services—equips him with a diverse perspective on workforce management, compliance, and employee engagement.

Known to inspire with his sense of humour and ability to listen, HRKatha is confident that Vivek Tiwari will prove to be an asset to IIFL.
