The unprecedented scenario that marked 2020 has nudged organisational leaders and human resources professionals to think and behave differently. While some have challenged the status quo and brought in a paradigm shift in their strategies and policies, others have been reshaping the way they work and driving changes in processes and methods so that they can ensure better employee experiences against the backdrop of the pandemic. Keeping the employees productive, motivated, engaged and connected are the moving targets in the new normal.

The historic year is inching towards the end and the economy is gradually bouncing back. At this juncture, if every leader plays it right, it can be bountiful for every organisation.

In this context, the 9th HR Showcase, in collaboration with the National Chapter, will be held on November 27 and 28, 2020 to create yet another milestone learning experience for HR professionals. This year, the event is bigger, better and virtual, offering an exciting platform to share and learn from peers and ignite new ideas for value creation.

    What is HR Showcase?

It is a unique trade show style event for corporates, HR startups, academic institutions and CSOs to share their most impactful HR and/or CSR practices, to learn from peers, understand industry trends and network. The conference will also have eminent thought-leaders and distinguished minds delivering interesting keynote sessions, sharing research outcomes, learning sessions, mentoring, and so on. With such a rich offering over two days, HR Showcase usually draws a participation of over 2000+ professionals from the HR fraternity including CHROs, VCs, HR professionals, industry experts, academicians, and so on.

“HR Showcase, the annual learning event held by the National HRD Network, Bangalore, is a unique opportunity where organisations participate in competitive segments and showcase their best practices. There are prizes to be won and learning programmes as well. Every year, I have gained interesting insights and ideas from HR Showcase to enrich our offerings back at the workplace. This year is the 9th HR Showcase and it is virtual. Do sign up and look forward to an exciting learning experience,” says Smita Saha, president, National HRD Network, Bangalore Chapter and area HR director, Middle East and Africa, AstraZeneca.

    Unique features

The competitive segment for the coveted Grand HR Showcase Awards is the highlight of the event. The categories revolve around Best Corporate HR Practices, Best HR Startup, Best CSR Practices and Best Innovative Practice in Academia. This year, there is also an exhibition of COVID relief work. This is a great opportunity to learn best practices presented by participants from across India through live video interactions and participate in live small group discussions at virtual round tables

Opportunity for focussed round-table conversations with young HR talent and HR MBA students, along with interaction with academicians to strengthen industry-academia understanding is yet another highlight. In the wake of the ‘new normal’, participants can expect a unique user experience via the technology platform, Airmeet, to interact and network live over video with the HR fraternity, speakers and thought leaders in the exclusive social lounge.

Another special feature (as always) is the curated knowledge sessions on the theme, Reimagining HR: Pivoting to the new normal. This includes exciting keynote addresses, learning programmes and knowledge sessions on some of the newer skills and capabilities for the HR professionals.
