[24]7.ai, the intent-driven customer engagement solutions company, is all set to hire about 5,000 people and increase its team strength in India to more than 8,500. It is looking for suitable candidates to take up permanent roles as customer care executives for voice, chat and blended process to manage clients worldwide.

The company, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to understand consumer intent, is following a 100 per cent online hiring process. Ever since the pandemic struck, the Company’s HR team has been souring candidate profiles via social media, employee referrals, consultants and job portals. The selected candidates are onboarded and inducted online. This enables the Company to hire quality talent from anywhere and offer the option of working remotely.

Presently, more than 80 per cent of [24]7.ai employees are working from home to support all functions at the company globally. To ensure that uninterrupted and seamless working, [24]7.ai is providing employees with fully-loaded and compatible computers, corporate broadband and mobile phone reimbursements. Realising that employee wellness is most significant amidst these uncertain and challenging times, the Company provides ergonomic furniture to the staff to use while working from home, so as to keep any kind of physical strain at bay.

[24]7.ai has deployed AI-powered monitoring that can verify workspace and transaction compliance, which are important areas of heightened security risk for remote agents. This is part of its measures to address security and compliance issues for remote access of client data.

To keep its employees motivated and engaged during the WFH arrangement, [24]7.ai has revamped its employee initiatives. A host of personal development programmes have been rolled out to help employees relieve stress, reskill and maintain a good work-life balance. Mental health awareness programmes, expert talks, yoga and meditation sessions are also among the other initiatives to ensure that employees stay recharged. Provision has been made for regular health check-ups for employees on site and in office.

[24]7.ai keeps a close watch on the employee engagement and happiness quotient. The employee engagement scores, which were 80 per cent pre-COVID, have increased to 98 per cent during and after the lockdown.

Nina Nair, senior VP and HRD head, India & Americas, [24]7.ai said that “the pandemic made us aware that work is about what we do and how we do it and not necessarily about where …We have learnt that we are increasingly mobile and can execute with excellence, virtually. The most striking thing in the last many months is to experience the resilience and adaptability of our team mates and our collective will to succeed”
