Navneet TopTech, the digital education company — and subsidiary of Navneet Education — that provides eLearning solutions to schools and students in India, is gearing to scale up hiring and expand the existing team of 300+ to over five times the strength.
Over the next three years, it aims to hire senior leadership and build a team of 1500 employees. This comes as a surprise at a time when the ed-tech space in the country is witnessing layoffs and job cuts.
The ed-tech company has worked with over 4000 schools till date across CBSE, Maharashtra and Gujarat boards.
Recently, Shamik Bhattacharya was appointed as the chief technology officer of the Company. He joins at a time when Navneet Toptech is increasing its technological proficiency. According to Harshil Gala, CEO, Navneet Toptech, the Company is “assembling an A-team to raise our level of competition and expand our business across markets.”
The Company seeks “to bring newer and fresher talent” that is capable of catering world-class, user-friendly technology and products to schools, students and teachers”.
Navneet TopTech was founded in 2008. Its aims is to innovate and create solutions that will help teachers go beyond the traditional chalk-and-board teaching method and stimulate the right learning environment for schools in India. The ed-tech arm of Navneet Education has three businesses, Navneet FutureTech Partnerships, Leapbridge and Navneet TopTech.
Navneet Future Tech Partnerships had acquired a 52 per cent stake in Genext Students in June 2021, and is working towards launching the digital platform, Genext, soon.
