T-Systems ICT India, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of T-Systems International (subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom Group) recently revealed its intention to recruit more than 3,500 people in the next two to three years. It plans to expand the workforce in the country to more than 5000 within two years.
The Company caters to customers across the automotive, energy, healthcare, public sector, utilities, retail and travel, transport and logistics industries, worldwide, with end-to-end digital solutions. Right now, it has about 1500 people in India across Pune, Gurugram and Bengaluru. Its new facility in Pune, spread across four lakh square feet, is designed to accommodate 3,000 employees. This facility will be developed into its main delivery centre and innovation hub. Its aim is to offer niche services in new-generation digital technologies, such as big data, machine learning, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and automation.
The Company plans to invest in skilling its employees to enable them to work on the cloud, data analytics and mobile apps, so as to provide high-calibre analytics and automation-led services.
The solutions it offers cover secure operation of legacy systems and classic ICT services, transformation to cloud-based services (tailored infrastructure, platforms and software) and new business models and innovation projects around data analytics, internet of things, machine-to-machine (M2M) communication and industrial Internet.
Its Gurugram centre deals with product development for Deutsche Telekom Group, offering support to the consumer market in mobile app development and other areas.
