HireRight’s new applicant centre for screening candidates

The next generation applicant centre promises to improve candidate experience for background checks.

HireRight, an employment screening solutions provider, has announced its next generation applicant centre, which features new social integration capabilities, a mobile-optimised platform and a user-friendly interface, ideal for a global audience.

It also provides a transparent way for candidates to interact, speed up and simplify the screening process. It not only guides candidates, step by step, through the background check process but also enables them to supply additional information and view the status in real time as verifications are completed.

The applicant centre can help reduce data entry demands on the recruiter or candidate. It can also eliminate unnecessary steps or errors by facilitating data population from the candidate’s social profiles, such as LinkedIn, or by leveraging the 50 integrations with leading HR management and applicant tracking systems.

The mobile-specific design allows candidates to complete forms and upload photos or scans of documents— needed for the background check —directly from a phone, mobile device or desktop.

The new version of the applicant centre was driven from the start by HireRight’s mission to improve the candidate experience through enhanced education and communication about the screening process.

“We know that more informed candidates are more likely to have higher satisfaction rates, and this positive interaction reflects onto the recruiting process, enhancing the overall candidate experience with the employer,” says, Edward Hickey, Managing Director, APAC, HireRight.
