The online application helps to identify and develop leaders within organisations.

Jombay and Pearson TalentLens have partnered to launch HiVE, an integrated online solution for identification and development of leadership in organisations.

The new online tool combines behavioural and cognitive assessments to help corporates identify and develop leadership in a scientific, objective and transparent manner.

While Jombay will bring in its expertise in the behavioural and psychographic analyses, Pearson TalentLens’ proficiency in cognitive science will be a big differentiator.

Mohit Gundecha, co-founder and CEO, Jombay, says, “A large part of our country’s workforce is young and aspires for fast-track growth, and this product will help companies make unbiased decisions to identify and nurture leadership within their organisations.”

Before the launch of the product, it was introduced to a closed group of 25 companies across sectors— BFSI, pharma & FMCG, pharma & retail, ITeS and hospitality.

This closed group helped HiVE to collaboratively test and fine-tune the product before a full launch in corporate India.

“Jombay & Pearson TalentLens’ HiVE is a remarkable blend of behavioural science, cognitive science as well as technology. Its online identity will allow managers to use the product across the country significantly reducing the need for a face-to-face interaction. Moreover, it is easily customisable to any company’s competency framework” says Philip Kurian, country head & director, Pearson TalentLens India.

HiVE provides the company leadership a quantified evaluation of strategic outlook, execution capability and people skills of the employees. This cognitive and psychographic evaluation helps organisations make smart decisions on leadership.

? Leaders are not identified by computers, they are – strangely enough – identified by people. If you need a computer to recognize leaders… Then, almost by definition, they are not leaders.

That’s great! If talent identification is done in an absolute bias free environment then nothing better then this. Need to know about it in details….

Rightly said Peter. Can tools do everything. Then there would be no creativity or human intervention in anything and people would just stop thinking.
