Singh has spent over nine years of his professional career at Reliance Industries, where he served as head-human resources (HRBP) from 2006 to 2015, based out of Mumbai. He joined JCPL, as head-HR, in December 2018. He headed the HR/IR and administration function for the furniture division for the next two years.

In January 2021, he moved to the VGL Group, where he was HR-head, VGL India for a year, again based out of Jaipur. During his short stint there, he successfully created the multidisciplinary COVID task force to lend support to the employees and their families.

It was in January 2022 that he joined Vinayak Jewels as general manager-HR/IR/admin.

Singh is known to be very specific and articulate in his communication and has the ability to address problem areas with extreme finesse. Those who have had the good fortune of being mentored by him vouch for his knowledge of human psychology and ability to motivate.

An alumnus of Savitribai Phule University, he has completed a senior leadership programme from XLRI Jamshedpur.

HRKatha wishes him all the best in his latest assignment at Shriram General Insurance.
