Biz2Credit, the online marketplace for small business funding, has gone all out to make Diwali special for its employees. The Company decided to reward the best performers in its workforce.
The top five performers received BMW bikes. Many others got iPad Airs, while cash rewards and other perks were also announced.
About 60 to 70 per cent of the employees, that is, the top performers, will get up to 40 times their performance-linked incentive.
This is part of the Company’s measures to acknowledge and appreciate the employees’ contribution. Amongst the various policies, it introduced an ESOP scheme, which is an inclusive scheme that covers 100 per cent of its employees, which is a great deal, given the recession conditions.
“With this small gesture of appreciation, we hope to encourage, engage, value, and empower our staff members so they may contribute their best work to meaningful careers,” said Rohit Arora, CEO, Biz2Credit & Biz2X.
“Despite the global headwinds, the Company has seen great growth momentum. In the next 10 to 12 months, we are prepared for an even greater leap, both domestically and internationally,” said Arora.
Anupama Garg, senior vice president & head – human resources (India) said that while “we value and celebrate meritocracy, and we can and will always be able to reward and recognise those that perform wel,” the Company also feels “it’s important to support those who aren’t capable of performing at that level”.
The Company never fails to “acknowledge and appreciate the commitment, effort, and accomplishments of our employees as part of our ‘people first’ policy,” said Garg.
The US-headquartered company has over 750 employees based in India. By the end of this year, the Company will have over 1000 employees in India.
Biz2Credit is the company behind Biz2X, a global SaaS platform that enables financial institutions to provide a customised online lending experience for their small and mid-sized business customers.
