This integration will allow both companies to broaden their corporate learning offerings and provide a holistic, engaging learning experience for employees.

In 2017, LinkedIn had a strategic investment in Cornerstone OnDemand, a cloud-based learning company.

The two companies have now decided to take this relationship further. They now plan to integrate their services, which means Cornerstone customers’ content from LinkedIn Learning will be integrated into one seamless experience.

This integration will allow both companies to broaden their corporate learning offerings and provide a holistic and engaging learning experience for employees.
In addition, there will be collaboration between the two on customer opportunities.

The two companies are trying to fill in the gap of day-to-day learning tools and content that’s required to upskill and reskill employees. They aim to weave lifelong learning into daily employee activities.

Jason Corsello, senior vice president, strategy and corporate development, says “LinkedIn has been an exceptional partner for Cornerstone for many years. With global CEO concerns about the availability of key skills at an all-time high, the combination of our two solutions provides organisations—of all sizes and across all industries—with advanced options for enabling continuous learning and accelerating skill development.”

“Today’s dynamic world of work and complex labour market are fuelling demand for new approaches to learning that equip learners with the skills to succeed,” says, Scott Roberts, vice president of business development for LinkedIn.
