Skilling the youth in the country has become the focus of the Government and many private players in India today. It is important for the youth to possess relevant skills and be job ready in this fast-changing corporate world, where new skill sets are required to excel.
Working towards skilling the youths in the country, Dale Carnegie Training India has trained 500 underprivileged youth in life skills on its ‘Global Day of Giving’— the day it commemorates its anniversary globally!
On this particular day, employees of over 100 Dale Carnegie offices around the world unite to deliver life skills to underprivileged youth at non-profits and charitable agencies, which work with the marginalised.
Dale Carnegie seeks to transform the lives and career potential of people through human relationship skill building.
This year, Dale Carnegie Training India partnered with Kotak Education Foundation, Action Aid India, Literacy India, SNS Foundation and Humana People to People India to provide life skills to approximately 500+ underprivileged youth across Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Raigad and Hosur. The course by Dale Carnegie provided leadership skills to the workers, who support young people.
Speaking about the initiative, Pallavi Jha, chairperson & managing director, Dale Carnegie Training India said, “Dale Carnegie’s legacy is deeply rooted in compassion and we strongly believe that our nation’s youth must have the skills they need to succeed in life. We are glad that through this initiative we were able to touch so many young lives and help them imbibe basic interpersonal skills”.
