    Deadline to apply for TCS’ ‘Smart Hiring Programme’ is Nov. 2

    Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is inviting freshers to apply for its ‘Smart Hiring Programme’. Under the programme, interested fresh graduates will be given an opportunity to learn skills that are in demand in the information technology sector.

    The last date to apply for the same is November 2, 2021, following which candidates will be required to appear for a test, which will start on November 19.

    The Company has replaced campus drives with this smart hiring programme. This off-campus recruitment will naturally cut down on campus visits and increase reach.

    Candidates with a science background and who have completed a full-time graduation may apply for the course. Those who have graduated in computer application, mathematics, statistis, chemistry, electronics, physics, computer science and biochemistry among others, are eligible to apply, provided they have scored at least 50 per cent or 5 CGPCA throughout their academic career.

    The applicants cannot have a gap in their academic career of more than two years.

    The Company has hired 43,000 fresh graduates early this financial year, and plans to recruit over 35,000 more.

    TCS is also offering a two-year full-time MBA/MMS/ PGDBA/PGDM/ Course in marketing / operations /finance / supply chain management / information technology / general management / business analytics / project management.

    Those between the ages of 18 and 28 may apply. The ‘Management Hiring initiative is open to all management graduates who can join the IT firm in FY 2022-23.
