Twitter has decided that it will reopen its offices as the impact and cases of COVID 19 has declined in the last couple of months.

Twitter CEO, Parag Agrawal sent a mail to all employees. Later he shared the screenshot of the mail on his twitter handle which clearly defines the company plans for a flexible work culture.

The mail to employees states that the company will resume all its offices around the world and will also start all business travel from March 15 .

“It’s been almost two years since we closed our offices and travel and I’m excited to announce that we’re ready to fully open up business travel and all our offices around the world! Business travel is back effective immediately, and office openings will start on March 15,” states Agrawal in his mail.

Last year, Twitter had announced that employees can choose to work from home forever. In his mail to the employees, Agrawal states that forever WFH (Work From Home) policy still holds at Twitter. Agrawal clearly states that any employee who wishes to work from home, that too forever can still do that. If one wants to work in a hybrid model, that is also acceptable, and all employees are welcomed to work from office everyday if they desire so.

“Wherever you feel most productive and creative is where you will work and that includes working home full time forever. Office everyday? That works too. Some days in office, some days from home? Of course. That is actually how most of you feel,” writes Agrawal.

But in his mail, Agrawal also cautiouns on the dangers of working remotely. Agrawal states that working with a distributed workforce is going to be much harder and challenging. Agrawal states, those who have worked in a hybrid model and have attended meeting working remotely understand the pain in doing so. “But we are in this together and we all play a role in making our workplace inclusive and a productive culture,” writes Agrawal.
