    Job opportunities at BEL and RCIL

    Bharat Electronics (BEL) has announced 247 vacancies in total — of which 67 are for project engineers, 169 for trainee engineers and 11 for trainee officers — for its Bengaluru Complex. RailTel Corporation of India (RCIL), on the other hand, has invited applications for 69 positions in the technical, marketing, finance, and legal departments.

    Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) will engage selected candidates on contract for up to four years for project engineers, while trainee engineers and trainee officers will be on contract for up to three years. The salary for project engineers will be up to Rs 55,000 in their fourth year, whereas the salary for trainee engineers and trainee officers will be go up to Rs 40,000.

    Candidates possessing a BE, BTech or BSc four-year engineering degree in electronics, mechanical, electrical, computer science or civil engineering may apply. They should have received their degree from a recognised university, institution, or college. A minimum of 55 per cent marks is a must for candidates above general, EWS and OBC categories, while below 55 per cent is acceptable for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. Two years of relevant industrial experience is also a must.

    The last date for application is 4 February, 2022.

    For the vacancies announced by RCIL, interested candidates need to apply before 23 February, 2022 on the official website, railtelindia.com. The positions open are for manager, deputy manager and senior manager in various departments.

    Those possessing a BE, BTech, or BSc in the appropriate discipline of engineering may apply. Those interested in the deputy marketing manager position should possess an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business administration with specialising in marketing/telecom/?IT or an equivalent qualification. Those applying for deputy managerial post in finance and legal divisions should have a certificate in CA/ICWA and LLB, respectively. The age bracket for deputy manager post is 21 to 28, whereas for other managerial positions, the age bracket is 23 to 30. Candidates for senior manager position should not be less than 27 or older than 34.
