After a long and successful tenure of over 23 years with Boston Consulting Group, Karalee Close has joined Accenture as global lead talent and organization.
In the initial years of her career, Close was the director of corporate planning, director of customer service/IT at University Health Network, based out of Toronto, Canada. Six years into this role, in 2005, she moved to Innovation Value Institute as chair, technical committee.
Her association with the Boston Consulting Group began in 2014, as marketing partner for technology advantage practice. A little less than three years into this role, she was elevated to global lead, digital and big data in healthcare. This role saw her based out of London. From 2016 to 2019, she was regiona practice area leader-technology advantage, where she put her skills in communication, organizational development, leadership development, coaching and team building.
The period 2018 to 2022 saw her essaying the role of partner and managing director and global leader, technology advantage. Since September 2023, she has been the managing director and senior partner, vice chair tech and digital at BCG.
An alumna of the University of Toronto-Rotman School of Management, this MBA-degree holder graduated in computer science from the University of Victoria.
