Meesho, an Indian online marketplace, has resumed its campus hiring initiative on a substantial scale, marking a significant leap in its hiring plans for 2024. The organisation has successfully onboarded over 150 candidates across various domains till now.
Upholding its commitment to people-centric values, Meesho has also ensured equitable compensation for all its employees.
The newly-appointed roles span a wide spectrum, including tech and product, analytics, business, fulfilment and experience, monetisation, finance, growth and HR. Non-tech roles such as strategy and operations have experienced a noteworthy increase in salary packages compared to the previous year.
Ashish Kumar Singh, chief human resources officer (CHRO), Meesho, expressed his thoughts on this development, stating how the resumption of Meesho’s campus hiring reflects the company’s strong trajectory in 2023 and outlines a robust roadmap for 2024. “We have a proven history of hiring from prestigious campuses, and we are grateful to all participating institutions for their cooperation in facilitating a seamless and successful hiring process,” he said.
With this fresh recruitment drive, the company has also decided to ensure a positive onboarding experience for all the freshers.
Some of the notable campuses that the company visited include the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) at Bombay, Kharagpur, Kanpur, Madras, Roorkee and BHU, as well as the Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad, BITS Pilani, IIM Lucknow, Kozhikode, and NIT Delhi, Bhopal, Surat, Calicut, among others.
Furthermore, IIIT Allahabad and IIT BHU emerged as the leading campuses in terms of the maximum number of hires.
