Bengaluru-based company, MoveInSync, which has been developing transportation software till now, is all set to launch its ride-hailing service, exclusively for the benefit of officer goers.
The start-up will offer stiff competition to Ola and Uber, which have been dominating this segment till now. However, MoveInSync’s services will be offered only to office-going professionals who follow fixed schedules. The fares are expected to be lesser (up to 25 per cent) than what is charged by competitors.
The aim of this scheduled transportation system is to help employees get to work on time. In case of any change in the schedule, they need only inform four hours in advance via the app provided by MoveInSync.
The service will be launched with a fleet of a thousand cabs at first in Bengaluru before launching it in other cities across the country.
The Company’s software/technology for managing transportation is already popular with organisations, such as Amazon, Microsoft and Google. These firms are already relying on the employee transportation management services of MoveInSync across 20 cities. Its software not only makes billing easier but also helps track employee cabs and usage. It also employs safety measures and systems that guarantee safety for women employees.
Founded in 2010 to tap the huge opportunity worth billions of dollars in the technology sector alone, the Company now plans to tap the other sectors too and also offer its technology in international markets.
