Starting today, that is, September 13, 2021, the leaders at Wipro will work from office twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, reveals a spokesperson to HRKatha. In a tweet on September 12, Rishad Premji, chairman, Wipro, shared that Wipro will resume work from office, starting with the leadership first. The rest of the workforce will continue to work from home till end of October.
“After 18 long months, our leaders at Wipro are coming back to the office starting tomorrow (twice a week). All fully vaccinated, all ready to go — safely and socially distanced! We will watch this closely,” posted Premji on September 12, through his twitter handle.
As per the Company, all leaders are fully vaccinated and are raring to resume work from office.
Over 70 per cent of Wiproites based in India have taken at least one dose of the vaccine so far. This data is based on the voluntary disclosures made by employees, supported by documentary proof.
Wipro has shared all guidelines related to social distancing at the workplace. A video which shared by Premji along with his post stated that temperature checks will be done for all employees at the entrance, and they will be allowed to enter the office only after proper sanitisation.
“The health and safety of employees remain our utmost priority. We have put in place several measures including round-the-clock workplace sanitisation, wearing masks at all times and strict social distancing practices to ensure employee safety,” says the spokesperson.
