Clix Capital, a new-age non-banking financial company (NBFC), has hired Santwana Periwal as its new chief human resource officer (CHRO), with effect from February 2022. She will report to Rakesh Kaul, CEO, Clix Capital.

In her new role, Santwana will head the people agenda at Clix Capital and will supply strategic leadership in the areas of talent growth, capability building, organisation design and performance management. She will also help establish a people-first, healthy and creative work environment.

In an official statement, Santwana said that she is “excited to be a part of the leadership team at Clix and partner with leaders to design and deliver a comprehensive people strategy that focuses on effective talent attraction, development and retention”.

“I am passionate about building a diverse and inclusive culture that encourages everyone to be their best. The organisation is at a tipping point and is well placed to leverage our experience and learnings to take it to the next level,” she adds.

Expressing his excitement over Santwana’s appointment, Kaul says “Santwana will be able to add immense value through people agenda strongly aligned to the business strategy and the organization growth plans at Clix Capital.” Given her diverse experience, Koul is confident that “she will further help reinforce our core values as we focus on building a highly performance-driven culture here, advance Clix’s mission and help the organisation pivot back to stellar growth post the pandemic.”

An alumna of MDI Gurgaon, Santwana has diverse work experience, which includes stints with EXL Service, Max Life Insurance, and Idea Cellular. She has also handled projects and long-term assignments in her strategic HR consulting role at Salto Dee Fe, where she worked with organisations in the telecommunications, technology, healthcare, FMCG and other sectors.

She has successfully headed and accomplished many assignments relating to people strategy, talent management, capability development, organisation culture, employee engagement and leadership selection.

Clix is co-founded by industry veterans Pramod Bhasin and Anil Chawla, and is backed by a private equity fund, AION Capital Partners.
