Airtel’s Saket Kumar Dwivedy joins Arzooo as VP-HR

Dwivedy carries close to 15 years of professional experience

Arzooo, an Indian B2B offline retail brand, has hired Saket Kumar Dwivedy as its VP-HR.

In this new role, Dwivedy will lead the human resources and admin functions and help Arzooo scale up its operations by driving enormous growth.

Before joining Arzooo, Dwivedy was the HR head- digital at Airtel, where he played a crucial role in setting up differentiated processes in performance management, leadership, and capability building.

“Arzooo has commenced its next growth phase and to accelerate its progress, we are strengthening our senior leadership team,” said Khushnud Khan, co-founder & CEO, Arzooo.

Khan is confident that Dwivedy’s “diverse, in-depth experience and complementary skill sets in the domain make him the ideal person who can expand our territories with high organisational learning”.

Dwivedy was not always an HR professional. In fact, he started out as a software developer and worked with HCL for about two years before completing a postgraduate diploma in HR from the Management Development Institute.

Post obtaining a PGDM in HR, Dwivedy started his HR journey with Glenmarck Pharmaceuticals as an assistant manager – HR. After a three-year stint with Glenmarck, Dwivedy joined Times Internet, where he served the longest stint of of his career — more than seven years. His last position at Times Internet was with MX Player as its GM-HR.

Dwivedy, who carries close to15 years of professional experience, is “thrilled and honoured to be a part of a fast-growing organisation that is powering offline retail across the country and helping them scale their businesses”.

Revealing his plans for Arzooo, Dwivedy says he will focus on “making it an inspiring place for people to work”, and he looks forward to “working closely with the Arzooo team to achieve the same”.
