Ascendion, an IT service- management firm based in the US, has appointed Brijitha Prasanth as the head-human resources, effective immediately. In her new role, Prasanth will oversee people and culture at the global talent centre in Bangalore.
Backed by over two decades of experience in HR, she is passionate about empowering and developing people, enabling organisational change and transformation, and leveraging data and technology to optimise HR processes and outcomes.
Prior to joining Ascendion, Prasanth served as the vice president-HR, CSC, for nearly eight years, from 2016-2024. Her primary responsibilities there included succession planning, compensation & benefits and managing human resources information system (HRIS).
Her key competencies in HR includes HR business partnering, talent acquisition, total rewards, HR operations and automation, OD interventions, HR analytics, change management, post-M&A integration, employee engagement and retention, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and employer branding.
Before that, she held roles as the VP-HR, Viteos Fund Services and as associate director and HR business partner, BMR Advisors. She has also worked with Haribhakti Group and Sun-n-Sand Group of Hotels in her early career stage.
On the academic front, she holds an MBA in HRM, a bachelor’s degree in Economics, and a Diploma in Labour Laws and Labour Welfare from the University of Pune.
