Digital IT transformation company, Microland, has appointment Deepak Shetty as chief people officer, to lead the HR function and work in tandem with the business leadership to create a versatile organisation for the future.
Shetty, who has over 25 years of experience in human resources, has led the HR function at many organisations through their expansion and transformation processes. Before joining Microland, Shetty headed HR at the Philips Innovation Campus, for more than nine years. He had also been vice president-HR at Genpact for four years.
From 1999 to 2003 he was HR manager for Hewlett Packard. He did a two-year stint with Nestle in 1996 and before that served as engineer at MICO Bosch for three years, from 1990 to 1993.
An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur and the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, Shetty is an engineering graduate from REC Surathkal.
