Raj Kishan Mallavarapu has joined Innoterra — the Swiss-Indian food and tech platform — as group CHRO.
Mallavarapu, who comes with about 18 years of experience, moves from Bayer, where he was APAC talent lead (HRBP) crop science finance & IT/DT and head of digital capabilities & change.
An alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, Mallavarapu started his HR journey with Saint-Gobain, where he joined as manager – human resources / HR business partner, in 2004. For almost five years, he led HR for the sales and marketing team at Saint-Gobain Abrasives, across India.
In 2009, he moved to Monsanto Company, as manager – HR/ HRBP – global commercial, enabling, regulatory functions. Less than three years into this role, he was elevated to lead – talent acquisition, inclusion and diversity and HR operations, India region. By 2018, Mallavarapu had climbed up the corporate ladder to become Asia –Africa talent management, talent acquisition and inclusion & diversity lead.
After a successful decade-long tenure at Monsanto Company, Mallavarapu became a certified executive and team coach at the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centred Coaching for the next three years.
It was in 2019 that he joined Bayer as APAC head of commercial capabilities & change enablement (business strategy). By 2022 he had become the APAC talent lead (HRBP) crop science finance & IT/DT and head of digital capabilities & change.
His expertise lies in the areas of business partnering, CXO hiring and development, people strategy, integrated talent management, development of leadership pipelines, as well as change management among others.
