Lendingkart Technologies, a fintech firm, has appointed Asit Kumar as its CHRO.
In this position, Kumar will lead the Company’s recruitment and talent management, and also strengthen the workplace culture to create a vibrant workforce that is equipped, energised and empowered.
Kumar comes with more than two decades of experience in HR. He has moved to Lendingkart from Jio where he served two years as the head of HR for the Jio retail team.
In the initial part of his career, Kumar spent time working with big brands in the IT and tech space. Working in various HR roles, Kumar spent more than eight years at HCL Technologies, which was one of the longest stints of Kumar’s entire professional career. Moving on, Kumar also spent more than a year at Infosys in an HR business partner role. In 2011, Kumar joined IBM as general manager-HR and spent four years with the Company.
Moving from IBM, Kumar took charge as the associate director – HR at Flipkart, where he was elevated as the director HR after three years at the e-commerce firm.
A post graduate diploma holder in personnel management from the Xavier Institute of Social Service, Kumar carries an all-round experience working in sectors such as e-commerce, retail and IT. As a seasoned HR professional, Kumar’s expertise lies in talent management, M&A, rewards and benefits, policy design and analytics.
