    Jumbo Group gets Shathi Sharma as chief human resources officer

    Sharma has moved from Reliance Retail where she was vice president-human resources

    Shathi Sharma has joined Jumbo Group as chief human resources officer (CHRO). She was earlier vice president-human resources at Reliance Retail.

    Armed with an MBA in Human Resource Management, Shathi Sharma began her professional journey as an associate with GE, in February of 2002, based out of Gurgaon. Less than two years into this role she was moved to Emirates NBD as manager, working out of Dubai.

    A year later, she joined Madura Fashion & Lifestyle as retail HR, in 2005. She spent two years there before moving to Telenor to take on the role of circle HR head. In the three years that she spent there, she served as an effective catalyst in building, motivating and retaining manpower, and positively contributing to organisational growth and profitability.

    April of 2011 saw her takin up the role of head HR at Landmark Group, where she spent seven years transforming the HR department and integrating with the business.

    From 2018 to 2021 she played CHRO, Modenik Lifestyle, working out of Bangalore.

    It was in May of 2021 that her association with Reliance Retail began, where she worked closely with several consumer and digital-first brands, including AJIO and SHEIN, under Reliance Retail.

    In her new role, she will lead HR for Jumbo Group, including talent strategy, organisational development, leadership capability building, and employee experience across the Group’s businesses.
