WorkIndia announces the appointment of Ranaq Sen as head of people. With an impressive background in the HR industry, Sen joins WorkIndia with the objective of driving sustained growth and continued success for the company.

Before joining WorkIndia, Sen led the people analytics and digitisation functions at MPL, a prominent multinational technology company. He played a vital role in transforming the people function and implementing industry-leading practices within the organisation. Sen’s strategic approach to people management and his ability to cultivate a positive work environment make him a valuable addition to WorkIndia’s leadership team.

Sen started his career in the role of assistant finance manager at Airtel in 2012. From 2019 on, he worked as the account manager at Darwinbox,  moving up to the role of customer success manager. He later became the HRMS implementation lead for South India.

In his new role as the head of people, Sen will oversee all aspects of human resources at WorkIndia. This includes talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, people analytics, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. He will also play a crucial role in expanding the leadership team and enhancing employee benefits and programmes, such as introducing mental health leave, period leave, and other initiatives that prioritise employee well-being.

Upon joining WorkIndia, Sen expressed his enthusiasm and eagerness to contribute to the company’s ongoing expansion and achievements. He has unwavering confidence in the remarkable talent pool at WorkIndia and believes in the organisation’s ability to achieve unprecedented success. Sen is committed to creating an environment where team members can thrive and bring their best selves to work. By investing in the development of their employees, WorkIndia aims to drive both individual and organisational success.

Nilesh Dungarwal, CEO and co-founder, WorkIndia, expressed delight at Sen’s appointment, highlighting his deep understanding of human resources and emphasis on talent development. Dungarwal believes that Sen’s contribution will be crucial in advancing WorkIndia’s expansion goals and building a workplace that empowers employees to excel.
