Sunsure Energy, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, has appointed Gurmeet Chadha as its chief people officer (CPO). With an impressive track record of over two decades in human resources, she brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
Throughout her career, Chadha has been known for shaping high-performing cultures at Fortune 500 companies, Indian brands, and major startups. Her expertise lies in implementing progressive HR interventions, fostering productive communications, building employer brands, and executing robust leadership hiring processes. Additionally, Chadha has international and cross-cultural work experience in the Asia Pacific Region, further enhancing her ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Her educational background includes an MBA in human resources from Bhartiya Vidyapeeth, Pune, and a B.Com degree from MCM DAV Chandigarh.
Before joining Sunsure Energy, she served as the group chief human resources officer (CHRO) at National Commodities Management Services, a Fairfax Group Company, for more than three years. She has also held key leadership positions at Ayana Renewables Power, Sembcorp Green Infra, and Caparo Corporate Services.
Chadha’s career began in 2001 as an assistant manager at Delphi Automotive Systems (holding), where she honed her skills in HR operations, culture development, cultural diversity, succession planning, training and development, among others.
With her extensive expertise and passion for creating HR-focused organisations Chadha is all set to contribute significantly to Sunsure Energy’s growth and success in the renewable energy industry.
