Anand Amrit Raj of Okaya electric Vehicles has joined The Best Group as group CHRO. He was with Okaya since April 2021, as vice president – HR for over two years.
Having begun his professional journey with Paras Group of Companies, Amrit Raj has gathered over two decades of experience. He was with Paras for over three years before he moved to HCL Technologies as assistant manager – HR, in December 2004. Three years later, he moved to Wipro Consulting Services as senior consultant – HR advisory, for a stint that lasted over three years.
His next stop was Escorts, where he joined as head HR – engineering division. For almost two and a half years, he successfully handled strategic HR, manpower planning, performance management system, organisation development, change management & transformation, recruitment & selections among other things.
In July 2013, he moved to SAR Group (Livguard & Livpure) as group head – human resources, based out of Gurgaon. Three years into this role, he switched to Nabling Services as consulting partner – HR advisory. It was in 2018 that he entered Okaya Power Group as group head – HR and admin. By 2021, he became vice president – human resources, Okaya Electric Vehicles.
An alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia, this seasoned HR leader is an out-of-the-box thinker possessing an ability to support and sustain a positive work environment that fosters team performance, along with strong communication and relationship-management skills.
