    Usha Dantu joins IntSights as global head-HR

    IntSights, a growing cybersecurity startup, has appointed Usha Dantu as its global head of HR. Dantu has moved to New York City to take on the new role and shoulder the responsibility of handling the HR function for the Company, globally. Prior to this appointment, Dantu was the director HR, Wipro.

    At Wipro, she headed HR for North America communications, industrial and process manufacturing. She partnered with business heads to devise and execute HR strategies for employee engagement, organisation and change management, organisation design, inclusion and diversity, HR Integration, coaching and mentoring, performance management, succession planning, capability building and compliance management.

    Having completed her MBA in marketing and HR, Dantu started her career in marketing and sales as a marketing executive with Softcell Technologies. After spending a decade in sales and marketing, she moved into the HR function, while working with Wipro in 2008 as the senior manager, talent engagement and development.

    For the most part of her career, Dantu has worked with Wipro, where she joined in 2004 as a senior accounts manager – strategic accounts, with the responsibility of managing key sales accounts in the Andhra Pradesh region.

    She has also worked with Ingram Micro as deputy manager, channel sales.

    Of her total experience of more than 20 years, she has spent 11 years primarily working in the HR space.

    A certified leadership coach, Dantu has worked in the IT sector all her life.
