    Vedanta Aluminium ropes in Dilip Sinha as CHRO

    Dilip Sinha has joined Vedanta Aluminium as the CHRO. In this role, Sinha would be responsible for heading the entire gamut of HR responsibilities at Vedanta Aluminium.
    Talking to HRKatha, Sinha shares that post joining as the CHRO, his focus would be on “people practices and building a proactive and progressive work culture through organisational development and various other HR initiatives with emphasis on organisational building, organisation development and digitalisation,” says Sinha.

    Sinha joins Vedanta from JSW Steel, where he was the SVP & Head HR & led a number of transformation projects and digitalisation.

    Sinha carries more than two decades of rich experience in the HR function and has worked across sectors with big conglomerates in India. Sinha has worked with brands like Reliance Retail and Future Group (Now part of Reliance Retail).

    In 2008, Sinha was part of Future Group as the Chief – People Office, in this role he was heading the entire gamut of HR function in the role. He spent more than four years. Moving on, Sinha went on to join Astarc Group, a conglomerate with diversified businesses such of printed electronics & imaging solutions, infrastructure, automobile, Decals/Metcals, multispectral camouflage paints & electronic solutions, dairy & agriculture and more. Sinha joined Astarc as Group Head HR group & championed HR strategy and advised all businesses in Astarc Group on its people strategy.

    After Astarc, Sinha joined CHRO and Group Head of HR at Rajan Raheja Group where he helped the organisation to transform people practices.

    Sinha carries a graduation degree in history from St Stephens College, University of Delhi and completed his MBA in HR from Xavier Institute of Social Service.
