The deadline for applying for deputy manager posts at the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is approaching. Candidates keen to try their luck as deputy manager in electrical erection, mechanical erection, C and I erection and civil construction can apply through the official website of NTPC. The last date for submitting applications is 29 September. There are a total of 250 vacancies . Those not older than 40 may apply. The salary range for the selected candidates will be Rs 70,000 to Rs 2,00,000 per month, depending on the role. The selection will be done based on a written test, followed by a computer-based test and an interview.
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is also looking for candidates to fill 200 apprentice posts (40 technician apprentice posts and 120 trade apprentice posts). Those interested may check eligibility and apply on drdo.gov.in. The registration process is already underway, since 24 September and will conclude 21 days from the date of advertisement. Only those 18 or above as on 1 August 2024 may apply. The regular candidates should have completed the qualifying examinations (graduate, diploma and ITI trade apprentices in 2022, 2023 and 2024 with a score of at least 60 per cent) in order to apply.
