HCL Technologies plans to hold a big recruitment drive in Noida, on 6 and 7 July, 2019, for graduates and students who have passed class 12. The selected candidates will be put through a fee-based technical skills training. After completion of the training, they will be absorbed into the Company. The Company is offering this opportunity to over 2000 engineering and non-engineering graduates, and 1000 students who have passed class 12.

Those selected for training will be trained by HCL Training and Staffing Services (HCL TSS), which is HCL’s subsidiary. The training course for the selected graduates and postgraduates will last six months, whereas for the class 12 pass-outs, it will be a year-long course. The fee for the same will be Rs 2 lakhs, and post training they will be allowed to join HCL, at the entry level.

This large-scale recruitment by the Company will present a golden opportunity to freshers seeking an IT career. Last year too HCL had organised a similar drive. In fact, over the last two years, almost 500 students have been absorbed through this initiative.

In total, the Company is expected to hire about 10,000 freshers across the country. The class 12 pass-outs will be given the opportunity to undergo further studies and obtain a BSc degree in design and computing, through HCL’s collaborations with BITS Pilani, as well as Sastra University, Tamil Nadu.
