Samsung India’s unique programme for interns

Samsung has picked top students from the IIMs of Bangalore, Lucknow, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Kozhikode as well as XLRI-Jamshedpur and MDI-Gurgaon for the two-month long summer internship programme.

Through the internship programme, aptly called IGNITE 2019— short for inspiring growth & nurturing interns towards excellence—mentor 37 interns will be mentored by top management leaders at Samsung India. They will also work on live projects across verticals within the Company.

Before these interns start working with their respective teams, they will go through a fun-filled two-day induction programme that will begin with an interaction with senior leaders at Samsung India.

Keeping the sanctity of the saying, ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,’ the Company offers Zumba and Human Bingo sessions. Also, quizzes and games involving strategy are organised for the interns.

The lucky 37 also get a sneak peek into the history of Samsung, which had started its journey with a grocery store selling noodles in 1938.
