Now an app for jobseekers to fix interviews instantly

The ePoise job interviews app has garnered investment of around Rs 3 crore from Orios Venture Partners and also few angel investors including Amit Ranjan, co-founder of Slideshare.

ePoise, a Bengaluru-based startup in the HR space has launched an app that allows job seekers to not only find and select jobs but also directly take interviews from their smart phones. On ePoise app, they select the company, as well as the time and place of their interview almost instantly, which is an advantage over other candidates, who would go the conventional route and then have to wait for the interview call.

On the other hand, the hiring companies not only find quality talent on ePoise but by automating their initial round of interview and associated candidate engagement, they significantly reduce their hiring time and effort too.

Sachin Agarwal, co-founder, ePoise, says, “We realised that conducting interviews is the only effective way to select talent since most CVs, especially for junior to mid-levels, looked alike. Still, typically, there is an 80 per cent rejection rate in the first round of interviews and scheduling is always a challenge.”

“In the entire process, one can well imagine how much time, effort and money gets wasted. The ePoise Job Interviews app addresses all these issues, and in addition, helps companies find and engage with talent. We believe that it’s only a matter of time when if an interview is worth attending, it happens on ePoise!”

The ePoise Job Interviews app is available for free on Android currently and is coming soon on iOS. The app is designed to work in low, even zero bandwidth conditions and is being used successfully in tier 2 and tier 3 towns as well.

It has garnered around Rs 3 crore of investment from Orios Venture Partners and few angel investors including Amit Ranjan, co-founder of Slideshare.

Orios Venture Partners have previously led over 17 startup investments in India including Ola, Zo Rooms, Pretty Secrets and Pickingo among others.
