The global workforce of Adobe has expanded by about 226 per cent, that is, to over 20,000 employees on her watch. The Company’s real-estate presence has also grown worldwide, to over 75 locations, thanks to her.

This political science graduate from Carleton University played a major role in making Adobe a great place to work. She will be replaced by Chen, another veteran, who has spent about two decades at Adobe. She was serving as executive vice president, strategy and growth, and also doubling up as the chief of staff to the CEO.

Chen has handled corporate strategy, global operations and business transformation, through her long and successful career at Adobe. She is known for actively mentoring youngsters in technology and business. She is a member of the board of the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, and the Carnegie Mellon Electrical & Computer Engineering Alumni Council.
