The Company plans to hire from cultural- rich Tier II colleges offering specialised IT courses.

Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic, the system integrator company, plans to increase the size of its workforce by 20 per cent. The Company, which provides end to end IT solutions, currently employs over 2000 people.

The hiring will be across functions to keep pace with the rapid disruption and inroads to automation, digital and cloud computing.

The Company strategically plans to hire from Tier II colleges that offer specialised IT courses. While it believes that there are bright and ambitious students in tier II colleges, for Hitachi, the culture of the university is of utmost importance.

The Company states that candidates will be hired according to their capabilities and job fitment, with no biases related to age, gender, religion and geography.

Shradha Puri, corporate head-HR, Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic says, “With a growth rate of more than 50 per cent, India is one of the fastest growing overseas subsidiaries of Hitachi Systems. To continue this growth momentum, we need an influx of fresh talent, who will help us build a next-generation IT service company.”

The Company claims to be employee centric and offers global exposure, cross-domain experience, and work–life balance.

Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic has a 360-degree talent management programme with special focus on gender parity, through progressive HR policies. The Company offers a diverse workplace culture, which combines international footprint with in-depth local understanding.

Tarun Seth, managing director, Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic, says, “We want to enable women to undertake leadership roles in the IT industry. The past trend in India has shown that women are employed for desk jobs rather than to assume roles in field jobs. We want to make this conscious shift and encourage women to become an integral part of the workforce of the IT industry.”

The recruitment drive will leverage the wide range of relationships between Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic and academic institutes across the country.
