Arbex, a global company operating in the tissue and hygiene space, has picked Mrinal Mulgaonkar Singbal as country HR (India). She moves from AP Moller-Maersk where she played people partner-South Asia for over three years.

An alumna of the Goa Institute of Management, Mrinal Mulgaonkar Singbal joined Infosys in 2012, as associate lead-talent acquisition, HRD. A year and a half into this role, she was elevated to senior associate lead-talent acquisition.

After over two years of working with Infosys out of Bangalore, Singbal moved to Mumbai, taking up the role of deputy manager-talent acquisition at Vodafone, in 2015. Over two years later, she became BPHR (technology) in August of 2017. From 2018 to 2019 she was manager- culture, inclusion and employee experience, Vodafone Idea.

Pfizer roped her in for the role of people experience partner in August of 2019. Her stint there lasted over three and a half years, based out of Mumbai. It was in May of 2023 that she joined AP Moller Maersk.
Known to be a “smart recruiter with the right attitude”, she will now contribute her expertise to Arbex, the result of a merger of Suzano and Kimberly-Clark.

Singbal’s move to Arbex comes at a time when global players in the hygiene and tissue sector are sharpening their people strategies to balance scale with agility. Her career trajectory — spanning talent acquisition, culture, inclusion, and employee experience across technology, pharma, logistics, and now manufacturing — positions her to bring a multi industry lens to Arbex’s India operations.

Mrinal Mulgaonkar Singbal herself says she is looking forward to “working closely with the Kimberly-Clark Professional Business in India and colleagues across Asia as we explore the opportunities ahead”.
