Venus Remedies, the research-oriented pharmaceutical company, is going all out to help its COVID-affected employees and their families. It has launched a COVID protection policy for staff and their dependents, under which it will pay an amount equivalent to a month’s gross salary for the next 12 months to the nominated dependents of permanent employees, in case they lose their life to COVID.

The Company will also offer regular employment to their next eligible kin, spouse or children, depending on their qualification and experience, and in keeping with the Company’s standard employment rules.

All this support is in addition to the employee benefits that already exist.

Starting July 1, in case an employee’s immediate family member— parents, spouse or children — pass away due to COVID-19, the Company will pay a month’s basic salary for the next 12 months to the affected employee.

Akshansh Chaudhary, president – HR, Venus Remedies, acknowledges that “employees are not only our greatest assets but also our topmost priority, and all our policies are oriented towards their well-being.” He hopes that this contribution will help “rebuild the lives of those employees and their family members who have been affected by Covid-19.”

Venus Remedies, which has presence in 75 countries and has 11 overseas marketing offices, has been screening and testing employees for Covid-19 on a regular basis, and has also taken the lead in vaccinating them and their immediate family members.
