Unlike most companies, Pernod Ricard is not just bearing the cost of vaccination for its employees and their immediate family members, but also for its third-party staff.

In fact, paying for vaccination has become a hygiene factor for most companies.

Pernod Ricard India said, it announced it now because the government has now allowed vaccination for all in the age group of 45 and above from April 1.

“The vaccine rollout presents a ray of hope to normal life, and we are doing all we can to win this battle against the pandemic. Facilitating a seamless COVID-19 vaccination cover for all employees, third party staff, and their immediate families is our first commitment to thank their efforts and keep them safe.”

Reiterating the Company’s commitment to ensuring employee safety and wellbeing, Shrikant Lonikar, CHRO, Pernod Ricard India, says in an official communique, “The vaccine rollout presents a ray of hope to normal life, and we are doing all we can to win this battle against the pandemic. Facilitating a seamless COVID-19 vaccination cover for all employees, third party staff, and their immediate families is our first commitment to thank their efforts and keep them safe.”

The Company has also tied up with doctors and hospitals across the country and deployed a hotline for employees and their families for COVID-19 assistance. As a safety measure, employees have been provided with COVID-19 kits and standby access to oxygen concentrators.

Through its employee-wellness programme, ANANDA, the Company has been actively working to foster a happy, healthy, and positive culture of wellness for its people. Regular online yoga sessions, internal competitions, virtual coffee sessions, nutritionist workshops and special counselling are some of the initiatives that the Company has been organising for its employees.
