    Hallmark Group invests in ScaleneWorks

ScaleneWorks People Solutions, an Indian talent solutions company, has received funds of about a million dollars from the Hallmark Global Group.

The funds will be used by Scalene to bring about radical changes in the various stages of the talent acquisition life cycle. The Bangalore-based ScaleneWorks, which was launched in 2010, has grown rapidly and made a name in the recruiting process re-designing and outsourcing space. The Company now plans to expand and scale up its operations, in terms of geography, technology and consolidation of talented, small-time yet serious players.

Scalene is aware of the lack of standardisation and serious players in the talent acquisition sector. With its commitment to compliance and innovation, and ‘no one size fits all’ philosophy, it will try to customise its offerings for its customers across various industries.

Ashish Tiwari, founder and CEO, ScaleneWorks, expressed his gratitude to the investors, saying, “We are fortunate to have HG Group’s support and backing in our growth story through the last several years, validating our confidence in formalisation of the Indian informal workforce, beginning of lifestyle-led employment culture — emulating from Western economies and inheriting the tenets of digitalisation across the recruiting processes.”

Tiwari shared the organisation’s confidence in India as an economy and its ability to become the trend setter in recruiting processes across the world. In his own words, “Given that hiring in India is amongst the highest across the world, the newer innovations here will be looked upon throughout the world.”

Dhruv Katyal, COO and partner, Scalene, said, “Our business in India is growing at 2x rate year-on-year. We have seen a top line growth of 137 per cent last year and soon we would like to be a name which resonates with recruiting.
