    Jobs at Dubai’s RTA for Emiratis, expats; pay up to Dh50,000 pm

    There are several job openings for expatriates as well as locals at Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). Some of the positions pay a monthly salary of up to Dh50,000. While certain positions are open only to Emiratis, others are open to all nationalities.

    Among the jobs open to all nationalities, the position of chief specialist – rail system development invites applications from those with ten years of work experience. Only postgraduates in computer science or computer engineering may apply. Preference will be given to PMI certified project management professionals (PMP). For the position of project manager – investment strategies and policies, work experience of eight years is required. Graduates in business administration or civil engineers with PMP/master’s may apply. At least three years of project management experience is preferred along with knowledge of global project management standards, systems and methods. This role is also open to all nationalities.

    For the positon of manager – road lighting and traffic signals, only locals with seven years of experience may apply. Graduates in electrical or electronic engineering are eligible. Knowledge of road lighting and traffic signal applications, smart city technologies and infrastructure as well as traffic signal design concepts is a must, among other requirements. This role offers a salary in the range of Dh40,000 to Dh50,000.

    Other positions open to Emiratis include manager – customer care strategy, for which graduates in business administration can apply. For the position of chief analyst- investment contracts, accounting, business administration and finance graduates with six years of experience may apply. Emirati graduates in business administration/management with seven years of work experience may also apply for the role of manager – corporate planning. Other openings include that of manager – crisis management and business community, and manager – TRA investment office.
