Corporation Bank is hiring for the post of Internal Ombudsman for the corporate office in Mangalore. The online registration will commence on 10 May, 2019 whereas the last date for submitting applications is 24 May, 2019.
Once shortlisted, the candidate will be selected after a personal interview.
The post is open to retired or serving officers, who have served as at least a deputy general manager or similar rank at a bank other than Corporation Bank or a financial-sector regulatory body. The applicant should not only be less than 70 years of age, but also have at least seven years of experience working in the areas of banking, regulation, supervision, payment and settlement systems and/or consumer protection.
The selected candidate will be eligible for a salary of Rs 70,000 with an additional Rs 5000 as conveyance allowance.
The application fee of Rs 1000 needs to be paid at any branch of Corporation Bank. The hard copy of the application, along with a recent photograph of the candidate and all relevant documents (attested) should reach the corporate office at Pandeshwar, Mangalore by 3 June, 2019.
The last date for submission of applications is 24 May, 2019.
The internal ombudsman of a bank ensures that the complaints of the customers are attended to. The ombudsman is officially in charge of looking into and addressing the complaints of customers.
