Young professionals can now be part of the Delhi government’s fellowship programme, wherein they will get a chance to work with the Government. The Chief Minister’s Urban Leaders Fellowship (CMULF) offers a great opportunity for young leaders across the country to work with the Government to resolve some of the important issues being faced today in urban India.
Those under 35, with a passion for public service and keen to work with the Delhi government for at least two years, can apply. The fellows will work under respective ministers and departments.
They will be required to help formulate policies and implement various projects and programmes. There are 17 positions open for fellows and six for associate fellows. A salary of Rs 1.25 lakh will be paid to them per month. Associate fellows will be paid Rs 75,000 a month.
Those interested may apply before August 9, for the batch that starts work in October. More details are available on ddc.delhi.gov.in/cmulf website.
For the position of fellow, the candidates will have to possess a PhD with one year full-time work experience or a postgraduate degree with minimum of 60 per cent marks along with at least three years of full-time work experience. Those with MBBS and LLB may also apply.
The initiative is being implemented under the aegis of the Administrative Reforms Department and Government of NCT of Delhi in partnership with the Dialogue and Development Commission (DDC) and various line departments of the Government of NCT of Delhi.
