Nagarro expanding team by 1000; maximum hiring from India

The digital engineering and tech solutions firm already has 6000 employees in India

Nagarro, the digital engineering platform is set to expand its team in the next few months, by adding about 1000 new hires, most of whom will be from India.

It has 25 offices globally, with six of them in India’s Gurugram, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad. The remaining 19 offices are spread across Romania, Germany, Austria, Mexico, the US and the UAE.

Globally, the Company has around 8,500 employees — 6000 of whom operate from India — and boasts of a steady growth rate of 15 per cent per year. The Company expects to maintain this pace in 2021 also, with India making a significant contribution.

Founded in 1996, Nagarro was taken over by Allgeier SE, a German technology group, in 2011. The Company’s revenue in 2019 was about €400 million with Europe contributing 57 per cent, Americas 33 per cent and the rest of the world, including India, accounting for 10 per cent.

The Company is now looking for quality talent in the areas of product engineering, design and business analysis. It has been picking up candidates from campuses and is now also looking at increasing lateral hiring. Hiring from the globally in-demand Indian talent pool is expected to help in its.
