Tata Consultancy Services has won three Brandon Hall Group awards under the Excellence in Learning category.

Tata Consultancy Services a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, today announced it has won three Brandon Hall Group awards under the Excellence in Learning category: Gold for Best Custom Content; Silver for Best in Competencies and Skill Development; and a Bronze for Best Use of Blended Learning. TCS also won a Gold award in the Excellence in Sales and Marketing category for Best Sales Leadership Development Program.

Now in its 20th year, the Brandon Hall Excellence awards are presented annually by Brandon Hall Research, a leading research firm in training and development. Each entry is evaluated by a panel of industry experts based on four key criteria, including design of the program, functionality, innovation, and overall measureable benefits. Winners will be honored at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference 2015, to be held from January 28-30 at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The Business Analysis training program, built by TCS’ Retail group, won two awards: a Gold for Best Custom Content and Silver for Best in Competencies and Skill Development. The program was created by an experienced TCS training team, with the active involvement of accomplished business analysts. Rich in multimedia, the training program is interactive and includes videos, games, simulated interviews, case studies, and workshops.

“The Retail business analysis training program equips our associates to understand complex business problems and equips them with the tools, methodologies, soft skills and in-depth domain concepts to capture business problems and translate them into requirements accurately and holistically. Driven by case studies, this training helps our associates recommend practical solutions for our customers, enabling them to achieve their business and IT goals.” said TCS’ Pratik Pal, President and Global Head, Retail CPG, Travel, Transportation and Hospitality. “We are honored to receive recognition from Brandon Hall, and these awards are testimony to our commitment to building strong domain competencies.”

TCS’ “Any Time-Any Where” initiative uses a blended learning approach through creative delivery methods such as gamification, self-paced online learning, social learning, and instructor-led training. Developed by the HR team within TCS’ Business Process Services (BPS) group, this program won a Bronze award for Best Use of Blended Learning.

In addition, the TCS BPS HR team won a Gold award for Excellence in Sales and Marketing for their Business Relationship Management (BRM) program that builds a sales leadership pipeline. The BRM program was created to groom and prepare the TCS sales leadership pipeline for the future, with a strong focus on the strategic priorities of global clients.

“TCS’ utilization of new technologies and personalized instructor led programs is successfully helping our associates acquire and build new learning and leadership techniques,” said TCS’ Ajoy Mukherjee, Global Head and EVP of Human Resources. “We are proud to receive Brandon Hall Excellence awards, and they reflect our commitment to HCM and dedication to our employees.”

”I’m honored to recognize this group of elite organizations with phenomenal programs across HCM functions,” said Rachel Cooke, COO of Brandon Hall Group. “The winners truly exemplified excellence around the critical business dimensions across the award categories, including a high standard of performance in their organization and demonstrated clear, measurable business results through these innovative programs.”
