Andhra Pradesh is going all out to ensure development and generate jobs for its youth. The state’s Cabinet has approved Rs 28,546 crore projects that will generate 30,270 jobs. Amaravati will be home to some of these projects for which land will be acquired. Rs 2,733 crore will be assigned for new works including a government tower comprising 49 floors.
The Andhra Pradesh Twenty Point Programme has already been set up to ensure the creation of jobs for 20 lakh youth. The government has already managed to draw investments to the tune of Rs 9.30 lakh in just a single year. The focus is on encouraging the establishment of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that will contribute to the industrial growth of the state.
Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) has recently announced job opportunities for skilled welders in Qatar. The roles available are of Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TIG) and ARC Multi Welder and Welder services. Those selected are eligible for free accommodation, food, medical facilities, local transportation and a return flight ticket once during the contract period (minimum two years). They will follow a six-day work week, with an off on Fridays only. The candidates will have to clear a written test as well as a technical one to be selected.
Eligible candidates must possess an ITI/ITC certification with at least four years of experience. Applicants in the age range of 24 to 45 can apply. The monthly salary will range from QAR 1,800 to 2,600, (about Rs 42,478 to Rs 61,365).
