apna.co to double headcount, hire 400 in 6 months

The Indian jobs and professional-networking platform, apna.co, plans to hire at least 400 people in the next six months. It aims to doubles its headcount in the coming two quarters. It plans to source its talent from the IITs, IIMs, and ISBs and other prestigious institutes.

Maximum hires will be for tech-related roles, while non-technical resources will be hired for the customer success, sales, HR and other departments.

The new hires “will support apna’s next phase of growth”, says Manas Singh, chief business officer, apna. They will contribute to the Bengaluru-headquartered company’s mission to empower a billion lives and play a critical role in its next phase of growth. About 65 per cent of the new hires will be for apna’s engineering, data science and product teams.

Over the last few months, apna has taken on top talent from organisations such as Apple, BCG, Uber, Urban Company, Myntra, Sharechat and Oyo amongst others.

The Company still follows the remote working model giving flexibility to employees working across different time zones.
