    B Ashok Reddy gets Lifetime Achievement Award from NHRDN

    Reddy, an enabler of sustainable leadership, has been actively associated with NHRDN, Hyderabad for over five decades now. 

    B Ashok Reddy, president corporates affairs and infrastructure, Cyient, has been conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the National HRD Network.

    The Award recognises his invaluable contribution to the growth and development of the HR profession and his being a source of constant inspiration

    Reddy has played an active role at NHRDN, Hyderabad since the 1960s. He was the national treasurer for 10 years. He was also an active organising committee member for all the successful conferences that have been conducted by NHRDN in Hyderabad over the years.

    Reddy says, “I strongly believe that the NHRDN movement has transformed and established HR as a significant strategic function in the business world. NHRDN will remain a key platform to further the thought-leadership in this direction, and contribute towards the journey to build India as an economic super power.”

    Reddy has been an enabler of sustainable leadership, and has stayed committed to this cause. He is determined to make this a reality by continually contributing to the NHRDN platform.

    Reddy was the president of human resources and corporate affairs at Cyient, where he specifically focussed on defining organisational structures and identifying and developing future leaders. His diverse past experience includes personnel, human resources development, legal, factory administration, and government liaisoning.

    Prior to Cyient, Reddy was with Voltas. He grew from being a management trainee in a subsidiary to taking on the role of chief manager-HR for their home appliances division.

    Reddy is a postgraduate in industrial relations and personnel management, and also holds a bachelor’s degree in law.
